We had been toying with this idea for a while now, especially because we have seen this all around our neighborhood and the Roses seem to be loving it and thriving in the rocky environment. It also made a lot of sense to go this route because of the ever abundant Oak leaves that need to be cleaned all the time from the base of the Rose bushes.
So we finally bit the bullet and tried it out on one.
Looks good, don't you think? So we now have just about 27 more to go.
They are all prepped up with a layer of weed fabric on which the rocks will be set out.
