  2. Hi,
I saw your blog just now and am impressed with all you managed to produce last summer.

I wanted to know where you got seeds for Indian egg plants and bitter gourds (and any other Indian veggies).

Also, is it a good time to start the seeds now (early March) or is it too late already?

We live in the bay area too.

Thanks and good luck for the gardening this year!

  3. @Soujanya-The Indian eggplant seeds are from Renee's Garden, the one called container eggplant-little prince.

The green and the purple ones (on the top of the picture) are from Park seed and called Gretel and fairy tale hybrid. The last time i looked them up I was not able to find them on parkseeds website.

As far as timing goes, there is still quite a bit of time to start seeds here. I started mine last year sometime around late march
